A note on the name
Vainity is a play on two words that already share a skeleton: vain and vanity.
A great deal of what we polish for appearance is wasted effort. Some of it is the point. This studio lives in that overlap — making things that look considered, without pretending the looking is the whole job.
The first version of this site is a house, not a store. Work, writing, and later the objects. The name stays either way.
